Before you start looking for a home, you will need to know how much you can actually spend. The best way to do that is to get pre-qualified for a mortgage. The steps below are the patch we take to get you pre-qualified, and able to start making offers!
STEP 1 : Begin a loan application.
We will work with you directly to gather all information needed to pre-qualify your loan request. We will discuss what your needs are, work history and review your financial information.
STEP 2 : Check your credit score rating.
Checking your credit score rating will allow you and the lender to understand your credit history, and assess the risk associated with your mortgage application.
STEP 3 : Provide financial documentation.
Provide select financial information and documentation, such as your income and the amount of savings and investments you have via W-2 statements, paycheck stubs, bank account statements, and other relevant documents. We will review this information and tell you how much we can lend you. This will tell you the price range of the homes you should be looking at.
STEP 4 : Find the right real estate agent, and make an offer!
Real estate agents are important partners when you’re buying a home. They will provide you with helpful information on homes and neighborhoods that is not always accessible to the public. Their knowledge of the home buying process, negotiating skills, and familiarity with the area you want to live in will be extremely valuable!
